Hotel Italia Canazei will open its doors to the winter season on 3 December 2021, ready to start the fairy tale period of the snow-covered Dolomites together with you. On the next day all the Dolomiti Superski lifts will also open, allowing you to choose which of the 200 km of ski runs to enjoy and relax on.

We will keep you updated on how and what’s new to access the lifts and the ski slopes of the Dolomiti Superski.
According to the information available today October 2021 the winter season will take place!
To access to the ski lifts it will be necessary to have a Green Pass, also known as “Covid Certification”, which can be obtained as long as you present both of the following documents:
Covid’s vaccination certificate or negative molecular or antigen swab test taken in the 72 hours prior to entering Italy. For more information visit this page.
This measure is considered necessary in order to plan with more serenity the season that will start in some areas on 27 November 2021 officially, in most of our Val di Fassa slopes will open on 4 December 2021.

The beginning of December, when magic fills the streets of the Val di Fassa.
The crunch of snow under your feet, as you slowly walk through the streets of the centre of Canazei. You can hear the voices of children in the distance, who you can imagine smiling as they play in the snowy park.
Overhead, the lights are warm and colourful, some small enough to look like stars, others large enough to look like luminous statues. A few steps and you are conquered by a new fragrance, coming from everywhere, the sweet and delicious one of the Christmas sweets from the bakeries, the rustic and spicy one from the typical shops. Your eyes gets lost in the fairy tale of Canazei, among the shop windows of the elegant boutiques and the little shops where you can take your presents home, the colourful ski equipment of those who have just come down from the slopes, while the light illuminates the shining white Dolomites.
Already from the first days of December in Val di Fassa it’s Christmas.
This magical, fairy-tale atmosphere is not limited to Canazei, where you can breathe in the Christmas atmosphere from the first days of December, it invades all the villages in the Val di Fassa. Winter here officially starts at the end of November with a very full calendar of events and emotions.
A few minutes from Hotel Italia Canazei there will be the Moena Christmas Village, from 4 December to 8 December, when Moena the last village in the Val di Fassa is transformed into a Christmas village with wooden houses, merry-go-rounds, shows and workshops for children.
But that’s not all, on the famous and magical shores of Lake Carezza there is another unmissable event: Christmas magic at Lake Carezza. You can visit these Christmas markets from 27 November to 19 December.
